It's Never the Same Game Twice!
Object: be the first player to score 12 points. The board is a 55-space loop. Most spaces have an empty card slot; Score, Lose, Go to Lose and Back 15 spaces do not.
Setup: each player is dealt 4 track cards plus one large Go to Lose card, and places their pawn on Start (a Score space).
Your turn: roll both dice and move that many spaces. If you land on an empty slot, play a track card from your hand there and follow it. If a card is already there, follow it. Cards keep moving you until you score, lose, or come to a stop.
Track cards: Ahead/Back 1–6, 10, 12 move you that many spaces; Roll Again lets you roll again; Go to Start and Go to Score send you to a scoring station (+1); Exchange Cards swaps two cards on the board (1990s edition: only the spaces directly beside it).
Scoring: +1 point each time you are directed onto a Score space. Rolling a 12 scores a point too. Landing on a Score space that another pawn holds still scores, and you roll again. Score never drops below zero.
Lose: landing on Lose costs 1 point and ends your turn; the two Go to Lose spaces fling you to Lose. Opponents may play their Go to Lose card on you at any moment during your turn — once used, it is gone.
Back 15: this space sends you 15 spaces the wrong way. Occupied space: landing on a space another pawn holds makes you roll again (cards ignored — but Lose still ends your turn).
Going Bonkers (Entrapment): if your own cards lock you in a closed loop, you escaped the loop and score 1. 1978 rules keep your pawn at the trap; 1990s rules advance it to the nearest Score.
Winning: first player to 12 points wins.
